Edition Stefan Knopp – Furniture with Soul and Surface
In the Edition Stefan Knopp, the values of JANUA merge with the artistic signature of Salzburg wood refiner Stefan Knopp: reduction in form meets emotional depth in the surface. The result is furniture pieces that are more than functional objects – they are an expression of an attitude, a way of life.
Each piece in the edition tells a story – marked by the natural growth of the wood, shaped by the power of fire, formed by water and refined by hand. Stefan Knopp's special surface treatment brings out structures, colour gradients, and haptics that make each piece of furniture unique.
Art Meets Craft
In close collaboration with JANUA, the Edition Stefan Knopp creates unique tables, sideboards, and standalone pieces that impress with clear lines and powerful materials. The solid oak panels are treated by Knopp using both traditional and experimental techniques, flamed, pigmented, limed, or brushed. The result: furniture with authentic depth and unmistakable character.
A Statement for Modern Living Culture
The edition is aimed at people who value quality, individuality, and naturalness. Each piece of furniture is a conscious statement – for deceleration, for permanence, and for the beauty of imperfection.
